Course description

A CNC Programmer creates and optimizes code for Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision parts. They interpret blueprints, select tools, set cutting paths, and ensure efficient machining processes for high-quality production.

What will i learn?

• 1. The employee’s capability to operate a CNC machine and produce completed product as per the work order or approved drawings, meeting all required quality standards and scrap standards –consistent and repetitive output is the goal. The employee will also be expected to be meeting efficiency standards at this point assuming the employee is producing regular production.
• 2. By undergoing this lab the students will learn to use the CNC machines efficiently for manufacturing desired products and knowledge of programming and use of CNC tooling
