Course description

Binocular Vision & Squint covers the mechanisms of coordinated eye movements and the abnormalities that lead to squint (strabismus). It explores the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of binocular vision disorders and strabismus. The course also includes topics like amblyopia, fusion, and stereopsis. Understanding these concepts is crucial for optometry and vision therapy.

What will i learn?

• To have a clear picture about the normal functioning of visual system eventually differentiating the abnormality/anomaly.
• To be able to understand the clinical presentations of different binocular vision anomalies.
• To diagnose the presented clinical condition and application of appropriate diagnostic tests.
