Course description

Classical mechanics deals with the motion of macroscopic objects using Newtonian laws, providing a deterministic approach to physical systems. In contrast, statistical mechanics explains macroscopic properties by analyzing the collective behavior of microscopic particles using probability and statistics. Together, they help understand thermodynamics, phase transitions, and material behavior in physics and engineering.
