Course description

The clinical examination of the visual system involves a series of tests to assess eye health, vision, and neurological function. It includes evaluating visual acuity, pupil reactions, ocular movements, visual fields, and fundoscopy to examine the retina and optic nerve. These examinations help diagnose eye diseases, refractive errors, and neurological conditions affecting vision.

What will i learn?

  • CO1: To be able to understand the purpose of each test, its indications and contraindications.
  • CO2: To be able to apply various clinical tests in step-by-step procedures
  • CO3: To be able to organize environment and documentation of the findings.
  • CO 4: To be able to evaluate the patient care performance independently
  • CO 5: To be able to design and develop different kinds of tests used in identifying underlying eye conditions.
