Course description

Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) uses software and automation to control machine tools and production processes. It enhances precision, efficiency, and consistency in manufacturing by integrating CAD designs with CNC machining, 3D printing, and robotics. CAM is widely used in industries like automotive, aerospace, and electronics to optimize production, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

What will i learn?

  • Create 2-D Geometry and 3-D models using various Command in Master CAM software.
  • Identify G-Codes and M-codes for programming
  • Create 2-D tool path and program for 2-D facing , turning , drilling in lathe.
  • Create 2-D tool path and program for circular milling and facing operations.
  • Simulation of CNC programs using Master CAM software.
