Course description

Farm Machinery and Equipment-I covers fundamental agricultural tools and machinery used for soil preparation, planting, and basic farm operations. It includes plows, harrows, cultivators, and simple irrigation systems that enhance efficiency. Proper selection and maintenance of equipment improve productivity and reduce labor. Mechanization in farming ensures better resource utilization and sustainable agricultural practices.

What will i learn?

• CO1: To identify the need of farm mechanization in India.
• CO2: To equip the students with technical knowledge and skills required for the operation of Tillage, Sowing and transplanting equipment needed for agricultural farms.
• CO3: To know about the cost of operations and economics of the machines.
