Soil and Water Conservation Engineering involves the design, planning, and implementation of practices to prevent soil erosion, manage water resources, and improve land productivity. It focuses on techniques like terracing, contour farming, rainwater harvesting, check dams, and watershed management to promote sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation.

• The various types of soil,water and wind erosion along with its mitigation measures.
• The agronomic and engineering methods of conservation and the design of bunds and terraces being implemented on the field.
• Minimise the erosion loss and conservation of soil.
