Course description

Theories of failure in finite element analysis (FEA) predict material failure under complex loading conditions by evaluating stress and strain. Common theories include von Mises, Tresca, and Mohr-Coulomb, applied to ensure safety and optimize designs in engineering.

What will i learn?

  • • Students will have knowledge and practical engineering skills in analysis of mechanical strength of structures and load transmission elements and will be able to design them based on input data. • Students will be able to deploy 3D Experience Platform to develop design solutions. • Students will be able to apply the Concept of Meshing and Failure Criteria to Practical Problems which will lead Economical and safe in Design Aspect.
